This weekend saw the annual IMiM Faculty meeting. It's the one time of the year when we try to bring together as many as possible to discuss programme strategy, course delivery and its content as well as discuss the issues surrounding business management today. It's a rich two days. It was fascinating to observe how different cultures view and tackle the same issues. Different cultures, different backgrounds but a shared vision. The discussions this time ranged from pedagogy to faculty resources, future student welcome and who might win Euro 2008 (we're many nations after all). There's an inherent paradox within Imim. Whilst one of its key strengths is its village atmosphere, the majority of its teachers are spread across the continents. We may not always see things the same way but it is this intercultural diversity which gives Imim its character and identity. Semper Imim!
