Parmesan crumbles - it's official

To be considered a true Parmesan , the cheese needs to be hand made by one of 430 artisans based round the town of Parma. Now it would appear that the financial crisis has hit even one of Italy's most revered institutions. The rising price of parmesan means that consumption is drying up and a third of these producers now face seeing their business crumble. The government has had to step in to guarantee production and ensure that a staple part of most Italians' diet remains on the menu. This problematic is standard stuff for Imim students who would, I'm sure, have no trouble in coming up with a rescue plan and marketing strategy to stop this institution from crumbling - oops, sorry disappearing.
