This is a thought provoking article from Andrew Sullivan of the UK Times as it hits on a real nerve - how we absorb and digest information in this digital age. A hot topic for business schools everywhere, from teaching to learning, there's a real paradigm shift going on and the key issue now is how to adapt. So much information at the end of a right click, it's almost mind blowing and our capacity for learning and absorbing information is evolving. The good side is that we mentally multitask on a regular basis, the downside is the downshift in attention span and its direct impact on course delivery. We've moved from diving to surfing, from reading to scanning. This post is intentionally short..... enjoy the article.
