Wannabe a renegade?

Renegade: this is the secret service's name for Barack Obama. It's an odd choice of codename. The Concise Oxford Dictionary defines renegade as someone who deserts a party or his principles; a rebel; a person who changes alliances. Given his image as a staunch democrat regardless of his claims to build a bridge between the two parties, this is either a shrewd smokescreen from Obama's secret service to throw us off the scent or rumblings on the inside. Time will tell. As he crosses the Atlantic to visit Afghanistan and later Europe in order to build his international dimension with the home voters, "Obama for beginners" is an assortment of little known facts. You can tell it's the summer season, but it's amusing all the same. The impression one gains at the end of the article is the McCain's appeal lies firmly with the golfing fraternity while Obama is Mr Metrosexual who does a nice line in selling mementoes to hoodies. I particularly like Jesse Jackson's politically uncorrect comments.
