Bird Brain
Do you have a short attention span, are attracted by buzzing noises and bright lights and need instant gratification? Do you live for the moment and find it hard to communicate off-line? If so you may well be in the process of rewiring your brain thanks to social networking sites. Certain neuroscientists interviewed for the UK Daily Mail believe that the digital technology that surrounds us: video games, the internet, social networks etc is bringing alarming changes to our brains and accentuate our 'fight or flight' regions of the brain rather than our capacity to reason.... We looked at this last June in Pond Skater Minds. The worry now is that this technology will turn people into small children , emotionally desensitised who find it difficult to concentrate for long and live for the moment - No comment!
