Protestors have used social media sites such as Twitter and Facebook to organise flashmobbing (impromptu social gatherings). The 24 hour climate camp on the Square Mile was organised on such lines. The Daily Telegraph used their G20 page to provide a rolling twitter ticker and linked it with live blogging to provide a rich take on events when and where they happened.
